The organization is grateful to have significant financial support from private donors who believe in the cause, many of whom also have relationships with Democratic lawmakers. We use our resources to form relationships with film studios and politicians alike, as well as to sway public opinion through strategic messaging.

Founded in 2022, Progress in Film is the leading voice in the fight for inclusive media. Lead by a team of former Hill lobbyists and Film studio executives who now use their platform and relationships to influence the world of film and television in a positive way, the organization is continuing to grow
